My cultural life…

Recently included a concert by the young musicians taking part in the the IMS at Prussia Cove in Cornwall and the Dexter Dalwood exhibition at Tate St Ives.

Closer to home, Whip it at the Holloway Odeon was great fun – apparently there is still roller derby in Haringey but I don’t think it could match Juliette Lewis and and Ellen Page doing their thing.

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes at BFI Southbank was pure pleasure; a lucious print, hilarious script and great performances from Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell.

I also enjoyed some great jazz by the Tomorrow’s Warriors quartet at the Spice of Life, and mourned the end of the current series of Mad Men after a thrilling final episode.
