International call for Community Engagement

This new report from Accenture identifies more citizen Engagement and collaboration with service providers as key to improving Government.  Leadership in Customer Service: Creating Shared Responsibility for Better Outcomes, picks up on the current trends for improved Customer Service and transparency and analyzes governments’ efforts to deliver improved outcomes through customer service practices.  It’s based on desk research across 21 countries, plus 42 in-depth interviews with senior government officials and direct feedback from 8,600 citizens.

All good news.   And I’ll expect that call from Gordon Brown any day now…
